We’ve been around long enough to know a fair bit about family skiing during the busy school holiday periods. So, listen up and follow these guidelines, to maximize your ski and family time, and to avoid any stresses…

Book Your Accommodation Early!

We find that clients are enquiring and booking their ski holidays earlier each year. Our advice would be to speak with your schools as early as you can to request school holiday dates, which will in turn allow you to book specific weeks off work too. Then, you’re all set to explore the available accommodation options. Once you have decided which catered or self-catered option suits you best, don’t wait too long to firm up your booking – our properties can be booked online at any time, so don’t miss out on popular weeks, such as Christmas, New Year, Feb Half Term and Easter.

Planning Your Travel

Once your accommodation is sorted, the next important part is your travel to Sainte Foy. Flights may not be released so far in advance, so if you know which airlines operate from your preferred UK airport, sign up to their newsletters to keep up to date with flight releases.

If you are intending to take the Eurostar Ski Train to Bourg St Maurice (just 25 minutes from Sainte Foy), we highly recommend you book as early as you can, as spaces are limited and high in demand.

Tickets are on sale for the winter season ahead (these are normally released in July each year) so sign up to Eurostar’s newsletter to be notified when trains are released.

Also check out the travel pages on our website for further info on travel options.
